A little less than five centuries ago, this beautiful ceiling at Jamali-Kamali’s tomb was painted with natural dyes representing quintessential Islamic motifs.
Jamali Kamali is my favourite tomb located in Mehrauli – in an enclosed area now known as the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Park.
